Attention: New York State Assembly Insurance Committee and Assemblyman Weprin

The PACE Foundation supports NYS A9659 because children with PANS/PANDAS deserve access to medically necessary treatment. Delays or denials of care can permanently impact a child’s health, education, and future. NYS A9659 would provide clarity for insurers and critical protection for New York families.

The PACE Foundation is a leading US non-profit organization dedicated to improving the diagnosis, treatment and quality of life for children with Pediatric Autoimmune Neurological Disorders.

Over the past few years, the PACE Foundation has developed and/or partnered with leading university medical schools, to establish PANS/PANDAS Clinics and Centers of Excellence to treat children affected by these disorders in the US and Canada.

We are submitting PACE’s written testimony to offer our support of Assembly Bill NYS A9659.
